No party here tonight as there was threatening to be despite my protestations. Good. Get my work done in peace. Not have to worry about cleaning up instead of working. "You could paint in the bedroom." The fuck I'm going to hide away in my apartment to do more important things! I don't know what I was worried about; the surest way I know of to have a crappy party is for me to throw it! Seems like every time people are invited to my place with the intent of drink and merriment, it never works out like it should. Must be nice to have absolutely nothing better to do. I'll be reminded what that's like soon. Current Mood:  Relieved
