Ah, August, perhaps one of the most bittersweet months; it's mostly summer, but we all know school is looming.
I worked my first day at the grocery store yesterday. I remember really wanting this job. So why am I trying to tell myself this is a bad idea? I am so fucking neurotic! I feel like Jeremy and I are never going to see each other again, and the only days off I can ever look forward to are days I have to go to school, on two separate days that Jeremy may or may not get off, that is of course, he'll probably get them off but decide to work anyway so that someone else can have fun. Oh, well. Fun is overrated and expensive. And if you are having fun, you are not making money and that is of the utmost importance. What the hell is wrong with me?! I don't want to go home and work! Oh, yeah, I came home for just a day to look at flowers. The invitations are officially out. People have gotten them really fast. And I got my first wedding gift: two 4-piece sets of my dishes. Make the negativity stop! |
