but I'll write anyway. I can start looking for jobs again today. And probably not a minute too soon. I feel tense there; I'm afraid to do anything wrong when my boss is around. And I've got a funny feeling my hours will be cut. I base this on them hiring this flaky stoner-looking girl (I don't want to get into why I think that). She is also cute and blonde, just like Goldie*. On the one hand, it gives me a nice warm Schadenfreude feeling to know that Goldie's storewide lust factor may go down some (although I have to keep reminding myself it's not directly her fault I get shitty schedules). However, I sense that based on the previous pattern of her getting better hours, that my schedule will be cut in favor of hers. I'm not sure if I will greet this situation with outrage or Anomie. On the one hand, I want them to suffer for screwing me. On the other hand, I hate being there and want to leave anyway. I sometimes wonder if they are purposely trying to get me to leave. They know I'm not living up to my full potential there, and not planning on staying there forever. I doubt it's as conspiratorial as I make it out to be in my mind. However, they are doing a good job of pissing me off and wanting me to leave. *Goldie is what the cute girl who has less seniority than me but continues to get better hours than me shall henceforth be called.
